The House system, which helps to break down a large school into intimate and manageable units, is a defining feature and cornerstone of the School's success and it is at the heart of our quality care. The sense of community within each of the four houses encourages a feeling of identity and belonging. The house teams greet newcomers as children and send them off as adults on their chosen careers, college or university courses.
The House System also provides opportunities for students to take responsibility as members of the House Councils. Senior students help House Tutors in the lower school as tutor prefects and pupil mentor. They also work closely to help supervise the School on the house duty as House Captains and Vice Captains are elected by their peers.
Inter House competitions are conducted to include the spirit of competitiveness.
